Good point; like Dom Doner, which apparently means something funny in Afrikaans. Renate and Nina made me take a picture of a storefront in Koln called that, and there was plenty of giggling.

Maybe JK in german means child killer or something.. Like an abreviation for “jungenkiller” (channel Awnuld as you say this). I thought it was weirder that he looks like a really unattractive girl with typically german artsy glasses…

Well, there’s a few pictures inside the Dom… For the reasons you listed, I didn’t include one of the outside. And yeah, the Joanne thing is weird; wouldn’t she want to be ‘JK’ everywhere? Sounds like a branding problem.

What, no picture of the ‘Dom’ in Koln? I couldn’t get it to fit in my camera when we were there – I would have had to stand in another city (result of crappy camera and large ‘dom’). Weird that they put Joanne K Rowling on the Harry Potter cover, too. Don’t they usually just put JK Rowling? (Not a Harry Potter reader). Viel spass!
