i so want to catch a flight to chicago tonight and steal that bike while you’re sleeping. If i can sell it for $100 as the police claim, it could almost cover my costs.

You can probably unlock the bike while it’s in the apartment… I mean, what more security do you need beyond Maggie the attack cat?? Any bike thief will flee at the mere sight of her…

Well, maybe once the baby’s there you’ll break down and take the bike outside. One can only handle so much crying. Actually, maybe Renate will hijack your bike and take it outside. If she does, take a picture and send it to me. I haven’ seen her on a bike since the 5th grade when she almost lost her leg after a collision with the pedal. I haven’t been on a bike since, either. It was a very traumatic experience.
